We're a fierce opponent of systemic racism and advocate for civil rights. Through the power of education, training and action, we advocate for Broome County to become a reality that embodies equity.
Empowerment & Economic Advancement
Financial security can transform lives. The YWCA offers skills, support and confidence to help women obtain or return to work, establish stability and chart a path for their futures.
Health & Safety
Women have a right to safety and well-being. The YWCA provides women with emergency shelters and support services, as well as supportive housing or early childcare resources. The YWCA offers services that meet women’s health and safety needs across all life circumstances.
